Bobbie Jo Wallace Parsons, the oldest kid of eminent parents who both served as governor of Ala. George and Lurleen Wallace, lived a life mostly out of the spotlight but full of adventure and volunteer service.


«Born on Oct. 15, 1944, Bobbie grew up in Clayton, Alabama and graduated from Clayton High School.

Bobbie died on Feb. 13. She was 70. She got my father’s grit and my mother’s grace, commented her brother, George Wallace Junior Her faith was strong.…

Bobbie was an avid hunter and traveler, visiting all 7 continents, often on hunting trips. She once went sky-diving in Australia.
